The set consists of:

  • 1x Standard otoscope.
  • 1x Standard ophthalmoscope.
  • 1x AA battery powered handle.
  • 1x Hard case.
  • 5x Reusable speculae.
  • 2x Spare bulbs.
  • 1x Bulb remover.
  • 1x Insuffaltion port converter.

Standard Otoscope

  • Removable 2.5x magnifying lens allows the introduction of small instruments.
  • Direct illumination with a regular bulb.
  • Insufflation port for manipulation of the tympanic membrane (bulb not included)
  • Handle powered by 2 regular AA alkaline batteries.
  • Varied illumination with a smooth rheostat control.

Standard Ophthalmoscope

  • 2 apertures:
    • SmallSmall - allows quick entry into small, undilated pupils.
    • LargeLarge - general examination of the eye through dilated pupil.
  • 1 filter can be used in conjunction with any of the above apertures:
    • Red FreeRed-Free filter - filters out red light for easy identification of veins, arteries and nerve fibers.
